This Saturday, my husband and I are flying to Las Vegas, Nevada. I’ve been there a lot of times, but have never really had that great of a time. This time, however, we are meeting our friends that live in Cleveland, Ohio out there and staying in a room with them, so it should be a lot more fun. We are staying at New York New York which is my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. I’ve never actually stayed there, so this should be awesome. I am not going to do the tourist thing, since I have done it a thousand times, but my friends can all they want!
All I want to do when I get there is sit on the Penny slot machines, drink a few free beers, maybe play some Pai Gow poker if I can remember how, take lots and lots of pictures, and relax. Oh and eat at as many buffet’s as I can. In my opinion, Luxor has the best buffet but I haven’t had a chance to try every buffet in every hotel, and it’s been a few years since I had the Luxor buffet.
I have a feeling it’s going to be hot of course, but not as hot as it normally would be. It’s supposed to rain here in SoCal on Friday, so maybe some of that moisture and coolness will carry on to Las Vegas? Who knows. I can wish!
We are driving back on Sunday, all four of us in a car together. That part will not be fun at all. I hate driving, hate car trips, I just hate traveling all together. At least my friend will be with me so we can talk and stuff. I’m hoping the traffic won’t be as bad as it is on a normal Sunday, since Monday is a holiday- I’m hoping that Sunday will be like Saturday, so that Monday will be like Sunday, and we will catch a break. Otherwise it will probably take us around seven hours to get home Yuck.
As always, wish we me luck flying there. I hate to fly, thank god it’s only a 1 hour flight, and it’s non stop.
