I hate having debt. Did you know that it’s actually a sin in the bible (I’m a Christian) to have sin? I didn’t know that until recently.
I mean, who invented debt anyways? I don’t mean who actually invented debt, but I want to know WHO thought it was a good idea to give someone temporary money to buy something that they can’t afford, and then make them pay additional money (interest) on top of that which they also don’t have, I mean WHO thought that sounded like a good idea? And why did people think that it was a good idea to get sucked up into that?
Why can’t people just be happy with what they have? No one is ever content. Society is in total constant competition with itself. It’s so weird. Why is there so much importance in things like clothes, cars, homes, etc. - I mean none of it means ANYTHING in actual life! When we die, we can’t take ANY of it with us, and having those items doesn’t make us any less or more of a good/valid person. If I don’t have the new current car or outfit, I couldn’t care less. But to some people, that is what is important and a lot of people get caught up in that.
And it’s like, it’s almost not even worth having a job now days. The Government takes a TON of your money for taxes and social security that I may not even get when I’m older because it may not even exist, and the more hours I work, the more money they take from me! There is almost no incentive for people out there that don’t have drive and morals. If I was a different type of person, I could live off the government and not work, and not do jack crap and still get money, just because that’s the type of country the United States is. They give lots of money to lots of people that do NOT deserve it. I don’t agree with it, but I COULD do that if I wanted. And I can’t say that I blame certain people that DO do that. The Government screws so many of us (including myself) so why not screw them back?
This blog was not intended to be a bash on our government-I am just upset that it seems like right now in our current economical state, either you are filthy rich, or filthy poor, there is almost no inbetween for ANYONE. And it sucks, and I just want to know why and how people got to be in these situations. WHY?
