So this is my first blog in quite a while, a few months I think. I had a crazy weekend and felt I needed to share. Have you ever known someone, or thought you knew someone, and then you saw them do something and you felt like you never knew them? I had a weird thing happen this weekend with a friend. I had been told by her and her husband that she had some mental issues. She came out to California and I was going to have her stay with me for the weekend and then take her to a mental hospital to stay for a while to get help. I didn’t think her problems were as bad as she was saying because she was known to tell stories, and to embelish the truth. So we were hanging out, having a good time, and Saturday she lost her mind. I won’t go into details but she threw a fit and lost her mind. She’s now in the hospital and her life is falling apart before her eyes. It’s really sad. Sad for her, sad for her kids, sad for her husband, sad for her family and friends. I never realized things were so bad with her. I never knew. I haven’t seen her since my wedding which was four years ago. This was just a crazy weekend and I feel like I went thru a break up, or a death or something. Very odd.
Other than that, been very busy with work and school. I start my core Accounting classes in May which I’m really excited about. General Ed sucks!
It’s getting to be summer…. it was over 100 degrees (103 degrees at 5pm when I was driving home from work) today….makes me scared to see what this coming summer is going to be like!
